Mural Project with Shelter Now

Quest Art School + Gallery and Shelter Now have teamed up to create a mural to be on permanent display at Shelter Now in Midland.

When the mural, which is being funded by a private donor, is completed it will hang in the Hartman Drive facility.

Quest Art School + Gallery member and professional artist Ruth Hurdle has been working with the residents of Shelter Now in the design and execution of the 4 foot by 8 foot mural.

Working with the theme of "what does Shelter Now mean to you and what is has done for you and your future," has inspired imagery of figures joining hands, of a listening ear, of shared meals, of a new job and a new home.

Shelter Now offers emergency and transitional housing in the North Simcoe area.
